Error accessing EBiz from my windows X64 machine.. 9 Years, 7 Months ago
Hi,
I have recently installed EBS 12.1.1 in my Linux OS. When I was trying to access the Login page and the responsibility from my Windows X64 machine, I am getting the below error:

In order to access this application, you must install the J2SE Plugin version 1.6.0_07. To install this plugin, click here to download the oaj2se.exe executable. Once the download is complete, double-click the oaj2se.exe file to install the plugin. You will be prompted to restart your browser when the installation is complete.

I did try to install the Java 1.6.0_07 version and uninstalled the other versions. I tried restarting my machine several times after installation, but nothing worked :(

Can someone help me get rid of this error?

P.S: I use IE version 11

Which browser are you using?
Try using Internet Explorer.

If it still does not work then verify Java version on your system, it should be between Java6u07 to Java6u29.

Uninstall all versions.

Download Java SE Development Kit from this link (java 6 u07 to java 6 u29 all are compatible)
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html

Restart the machin.

Check if java plugin is enabled.

Internet explorer -> Tools -> Manage Add -ons: Java(tm) Plug-in SSV HELPER

Test now.
If it still does not work then proceed further.

Control panel -> programs -> programs and features -> installed updates -> internet explorer

Remove the internet explorer updates from your windows.

Internet Explorer -> tools -> internet options -> Advanced -> reset

Internet Explorer -> tools -> internet option -> security -> customize : Disable XXS filter.
