I am trying to newly implement AP in Vision Instance. I have encountered the below 5 problems. Pls help them so that I can continue doing practice.

1. I am trying to setup Financial Options in AP, but I am not using Inventory module. But the system is asking to enter Inventory Organization. Can I disable Inventory module for my setup ? Or, How can I proceed with this?


2. I am trying to Create supplier, for the first time But I am getting error: "The record in table HZ_PARTIES cannot be looked as it has been updated by another user"

3.I am not able to enter periods in Payables.

4. AP_FINAP_NOT_DEFINED error is coming while opening invoice. So, I ran "Security List Maintenance" for "all security profiles". But no use.

5. I am not able to change the profile option for "AP: Use Invoice Batch Controls" at Payables level or user level. How to over come this?

Vision install has lots of issues like the ones you have posted.
That is why I recommend to use a fresh install to learn Oracle R12.
